Why animal art works so well on a wall
An animal looks back at the room, giving the wall instant presence. Big cats bring strength to a living room, horses elegance to an entryway or a study, birds lightness to a bedroom. It is one of the oldest subjects of decorative painting, and one of the easiest to live with.
Our Signature Collection revisits these subjects with dark backgrounds and touches of gold, designed for contemporary interiors. Reproductions of great masters, from Rousseau and Franz Marc to Japanese prints and Audubon’s plates, offer a more classic register.
For a bold effect, one large format on a clear wall. For an arrangement, pair two animals that answer each other, in the same format and frame: the multi-buy discount applies automatically from 2 works.
Frequently asked questions
Which animal painting for a living room?
A big cat or a horse in a large format creates a strong focal point above the sofa. For a light living room, a dark background with gold accents; for a busy one, a softly coloured print.
Are these original works?
The Signature Collection gathers Murmure Deco designs printed to order. The great masters’ works are reproductions of public-domain paintings, credited on each page with the museum that holds the original.
Can I combine several animal paintings?
Yes: choose two or three works in the same format and finish, and leave 5 to 8 cm between the frames. From 2 works, −10 %; from 3, −15 %, applied automatically in the basket.
