Das Haus
The house
Murmure Deco is a Moroccan house of decorative wall art for homes, riads and hotels. Our own creations, masterpieces by the great painters and your own photos, printed to order and conceived for the wall that will receive them.
The Signature Collection
These are our own works: a pink flamingo before a golden moon, peacocks among lotus flowers, Arabian stallions adorned with gold jewellery, tigers, a leopard lounging on a chaise, a white peacock, a lion in red glasses, a King of Spades. A lush bestiary and gardens heightened with gold, printed to order in the size and frame of your choice.
The masterpieces
Klimt, Hokusai, Hiroshige, Monet, Van Gogh, Delacroix, Henri Rousseau, Kandinsky, Klee, Mondrian, the plates of Redouté and Audubon: we gather public-domain works, reproduced to museum quality from the open-access files published by major museums. Each product page credits the artist, the date, the museum and the image licence. They are reproductions, never originals.
Personalised pieces
A family photo, a landscape, a place you love: upload your image, choose its format and frame, then check the true-scale preview. We confirm your photo with you on WhatsApp, where you also pay the 50% advance required before production. Before printing, we check the file’s resolution and contact you if it falls short. Your photo is used only to produce your order.
How we choose
A work joins the catalogue if it can hold a wall: strong presence from across the room, details that reward a closer look, colours that sit well with wood, brass, tadelakt and the textiles of our interiors. For the masterpieces, we only select artists who died in 1955 or earlier, works made before 1931, and files sharp enough for large formats, with their source and licence checked.
Printing and finishing
Every piece is printed to order, in 24 to 48 hours, on canvas stretched on a 3 cm wooden frame: with no frame, in a classic frame (a black wooden moulding) or in a black floating frame, where the canvas seems to float. It is checked before shipping and arrives ready to hang. Every option shows its price, with no fake discounts.
See it before you choose
The “See it at home” visualiser shows each piece to scale, in a living room, bedroom or entrance, or on a photo of your own wall; “Compose a wall” brings several works together into one coherent arrangement. Some room photos on the site show our pieces actually hanging, others show a work placed digitally in the same rooms: they give a true sense of scale and mood, though colours vary from screen to screen.
For professionals
Riads, hotels, restaurants, offices, architects and interior designers: write to us with your wall dimensions and the spirit of the place. We will suggest a selection and suitable sizes, including made-to-measure.
