Information about the publisher of the Murmure Deco website and where its images come from.
Signature works and room photos
Signature Collection works and room photos belong to Murmure Deco. Some photos show our pieces actually hanging; others show a work placed digitally in the same rooms. They are illustrative, and colours vary from screen to screen.
Public-domain reproductions
Reproductions are of public-domain works: artists who died in 1955 or earlier, works made before 1931. The images come from museums’ open-access collections (The Met, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the National Gallery of Art…) or from PD-Art files on Wikimedia Commons. Each product page credits the artist, the date, the museum and the image licence; naming a museum implies no partnership with it or endorsement by it.
Customers’ photos
Photos uploaded for a personalised piece remain the property of their author. By uploading them, customers confirm they own the rights; the photos are used only to produce their order.
